Does the price go up at renewal?
No. The price you join at is the price you keep, every year, for as long as you renew. No introductory discounts that double later.
What’s in the free version?
All three layouts (table, grid, folders), instant search, filter dropdowns, sortable columns, the Gutenberg block and shortcode, download tracking, and unlimited documents. No artificial limits.
Can I search inside my documents?
Yes. Pro adds full-text search that reads the text inside your PDFs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, so people find a document by its contents, not just its title — and extraction runs on your own server. Scanned or image-only PDFs can be sent to our optional OCR service to be made searchable too; that’s off by default, and files are processed and immediately discarded, never stored.
What happens if I don’t renew?
FileDeck is GPL software: the plugin keeps working exactly as it is. Renewal covers updates and support — nothing on your site breaks or gets locked if you let it lapse.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — if FileDeck Pro isn’t right for you, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.
What counts as a site? Do staging sites count?
One licence activation is one production website. Local, development and staging copies of that site don’t use up an activation.
Can I move a licence to a different site?
Yes — deactivate the licence on the old site and activate it on the new one, any time, yourself.
Is VAT included?
Prices are shown before tax; VAT or sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your billing country.
Can I upgrade to a bigger plan later?
Yes — upgrades are pro-rated, so you only pay the difference for the remainder of your licence year.
