Is the free version enough for a small charity?
Often, yes — unlimited documents, all three layouts, instant search and filters are free with no caps. You pay only if you need restricted areas, file protection or search inside PDFs.
Can supporters download without an account?
Yes — public documents need no login. Only the categories you protect ask for a password or login.
Can trustees have a private area?
Yes — restrict a category to a role or password and it disappears for everyone else, including from search.
Can volunteers manage it without tech skills?
Yes — adding a document is upload, pick a category, done. Bulk add and CSV import cover the big first migration.
Do replaced policies keep an archive?
Yes — replaced documents are archived and restorable.
