03Moving across
Move the library.
FileDeck’s Download Monitor importer transfers documents, categories, tags, the current file, download totals and supported members-only restrictions.
- 03.1Run the importerDocuments → Import & Export → Migrate, in FileDeck Pro. Members-only downloads come across as documents for logged-in visitors.
- 03.2Import as drafts and checkCheck your forms and special access rules before switching. Older versions come across into version history, and old download links keep working once Download Monitor is off.

Start from the jobs you need done: the library display, the reports you read, the form or email step before a download, and any extension or integration you already rely on. Then compare the plan that includes all of them, at its renewal price and for your number of sites, with the FileDeck tier that covers the same jobs.

What people ask about the two.
Does FileDeck track downloads?
Yes. Free includes download counts. Pro adds an activity log, charts, popular-document and search reporting, CSV export and optional GA4 events.
Can I collect leads?
Yes. Pro includes lead capture, form gating, Mailchimp/Brevo sync and webhooks. Check your specific form workflow rather than assuming every integration behaves identically.
What should I check if I’m already using Download Monitor?
Any required specialist report, checkout workflow, purchased extension or custom integration. FileDeck supports membership-plan gating but does not advertise its own digital-product checkout.
