Three ways to put Drive documents in front of readers, depending on who should see them and whether their contents need to be searchable.

The cloud connector can add new files from a selected folder on a schedule. That import is one-way and additive: it does not retitle or remove existing FileDeck records when the source folder changes. Cloud-backed file contents are not currently indexed for full-text search. FileDeck adds the publishing experience on your website.
Google Drive and Docs remain useful for storage and collaborative editing. You can adopt the library without first replacing your team’s authoring tools. Before you publish, review each file’s sharing settings in Drive: a listing in FileDeck does not change who can open the Drive URL itself.

What people ask about Drive and libraries.
Can people use Drive links without a Google account?
Public link settings can allow this. FileDeck’s advantage is the organised, branded library on your site, not a claim that Drive links require a Google login.
Will FileDeck secure an already-public Drive link?
No. Free external links retain the source’s sharing settings. Configure source access and, where appropriate, use FileDeck’s authenticated connector and document restrictions.
Will this guarantee Google rankings?
No. Public document pages give you content on your own domain, but indexing and rankings depend on accessibility, site configuration and search engines.
Can clients have private areas?
Yes. FileDeck Pro supports private client collections. Review the source-file permissions as well as the portal settings.
